"Four hundred years ago, when the earth was round, our blood/forebearers found evil underground. Mixing science with the abstract and a will undenied, they bore a creature by a fusion of nature, which complied. Now you who raise motitov cocktails in a toast wish to raise this monster as a ghost. To save a world whcich it thought I'd long rendered dead...go forth you fools and awaken Atomic GasHead!!!"

So it's basically a modern re-telling of a Godzilla like creature who nearly destroys humanity only to be awoken 400 years later by the remaining society to fight off a another creature from space.

We had a lot of fun deciding exactly how it came to be in the first place. We imagined the discovery of a previously unknown energy source below the crust of the earth. So unpredictable was this captured energy that it "jumped" into the information highway and rather randomly absorbed data from a top secret weapons plant, a
CGI company, and finally a bio-lab where the "energy virus" was finally quaranteened by computer security systems. The resulting monster ends up being an odd combination of man made weapon, CGI modeling from various upcoming special effects films and the latest in biological advances. Theres room for some deprecating humor there as to just what it looks like.
